Hi there, I start the course in February and was wondering what course materials you get given?
Do you get given books for the course or is it on the internet for you to access? Do you get any software given to you for the course as well?

Hi,
We have been given A+ books for the 701 and 702 exams as well as access to measureup.com which has loads of practice questions on it.
We have also been given access to the MSDNAA which gives you a massive load of Microsoft software like Windows XP, Vista, 7 and server editions. There are also IDEs and stuff (literally a massive list of software).

Thanks for the response. Nice to see you get given books as well as software so you can use what you are taught. Out of curiosity is the software from MSDNAA time limited?

I believe the keys are guaranteed to work for two years (they might keep working afterwards I'm not sure) and the software will continue to be legit forever. I think it says in the license agreement that you should destroy the software once you no longer have an academic use for it but realistically that is not going to happen.
