I also start the same course, gaining the same qualifications as you on September 5th 2011. I went to College after gaining my GCSE's, taking Computing, Applied IT, Graphics and Maths at A Level. I hated College, the way it was taught the teachers. I felt the entire 2 years was a incredibly bad experience. In the end after several arguments, days missed and exams missed I came away with only 2 A Levels. Graphics (B) and Applied IT (E).
So I join the Zenos program thinking it would be great, as everyone else clearly says that is what they were told. They also say however, it is nothing like what they expected and that a lot of it, is like how I described my 2 years at College. Now I didn't want to go to Uni, I feel I'm done with education but a fast track course like Zenos, I thought would be great. Obviously, you can imagine the kind of downer (so to speak) I've been put in hearing all the bad news with Zenos. I am going to be using this time I guess as easy money, a CV filler and maybe 'some experience'. Most of my time I think will be going into my website ideas. I've read on here students are driven by cash from day 1. That's fine by me, I want the cash. It made me wonder would everyone be like that there, and if so would they be any use to me, I mean did they come on the course thinking it would be something more and then it isn't. If driven by cash yet they have knowledge better than Zenos, maybe I have come to the right place, but for the wrong reason. When day 1 comes, I'll take it fully by the horns and get right into it. I'll shine from the start. I'll also see if this is really what it was meant to be, if so fantastic. If not, I'll stay there for the short term money and hopefully find some like minded people that have visions way beyond Zenos, College and Uni. I want to be making a lot of money not a standard salary. Maybe Zenos can bring me to some of the right people? I'll keep posting as I start the course. |
