Hello Zenos Students,

If you are currently studying and wish to get a head start then I suggest you use the resources below.

1. MeasureUp (Requires Login Provided by Zenos)
[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

2. ProProfs (Free! No login required)

3. Zenos MCDST Questions (Not very accurate)*

[Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

* By not very accurate I mean not many of these questions turn up in the test or they are deliberately to hard or to easy.

What you want to study (In order);
  1. CompTIA A+ 601
  2. CompTIA A+ 602
  3. MCDST 271
  4. MCDST 272
  5. CompTIA N+ (Additional Exam, not required)

May i add that no exam preperation can prepare you for the MCDST 272. All the practice exams i did were useless, i had to go by knowldge that i got from the A+ 602 but i still failed the 272. I got the 271 alright that was a piece of piss, so i'm atleast MCP, just not MCDST but that isn't an issue as i don't want to be a 'Desktop support technician'

may i also add that i did a mock exam for 271 and got 50% then did the real exam and got 74% - i did not revise as i had no time

on the other hand i revised quite a lot for the 272, well by my standards which are very low and i passed first time. my experience tells me that most of the revision process was useless and that zenos made the exam a big deal when they where not really to hard perhaps it was luck of the day

i then went onto passing one of the A+ exams that day i think i did nearly all the exams within a 4 day period as i was quite slow in passing the NVQ's and really needed to hurry up!

zenos offer 6 months support after the exams and i went in to do my last A+ which is got the exact pass mark, the trainers are really supportive and i think that the trainer we had was a really nice guy and defiantly tried his best to help us pass
