My experience at Zenos (Perro) - Zenos

Dear Zenos

It's to good to have forum easily accessible from google where i can express my thoughts with you.

I was a student in the intake just gone (february 2010 onwards) and my overall experience was sub-par

Although i initially thought the course was doing me much good overtime i became frustrated over the way the course is done and by the complete stupidly of some fellow classmates. I wouldn't consider myself the smartest IT person out there but even i was being held up quite considerably by those who just were not interested in IT at all. Some i'm surprised even managed to passed the simple test you give us in the interview.

I was expecting a more hands on experience than what i received whilst at the Watford academy. I'm not sure if it is true for all academies but i felt let down by the lack of real IT technician work that you do.

The final weeks were the worst with constant exams which i felt were inaccurate to the real test and hindered my overall success.

There are other minors issues however they are not worth mentioning.

I hope you take some of what i said on board as i felt this ruined the course for me.

Hi Perro,

This forum is un-official which means Zenos don't run it, although I'm sure someone from there checks it fairly often.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel your time at Zenos was a bad experience. I would agree on some parts you've mentioned.

The constant exams did enable me to see where my weak points were and where my strong points lay. This meant I was able to revise my weak ones more thoroughly and in turn hopefully become more employable.

The whole course for me was the good bit, where as after the course is a very bad experience for me. I'm pretty sure Zenos didn't create the financial downturn though so I can't blame them for this.

Oh so this isn't the offical forum for Zenos?

Well i hope they do check it regularly anyway some people make some valid points here which i personally think Zenos could do with addressing.
