Connexions! - Zenos

Hey,

I was recently contacted by connexions to go in and have a meeting, this meeting was 1 hour long and helped me alot...

First of all in the first ten minutes they looked at my cv (they dont ask you too take one) then asked me what kinda job i would like. I said that i would like a job or traning would also be good

so they got me on to this web site, for apprentaships.

this really helped!
The found me a local appreaship that i will be haveing an interview for very soon.
I would like to recommend that if you are between 16-18 you should go and see what they can do.
they also managed to talk to me about university which was nice

Congrats man, i havn't bothered to go to connexions i hate people trying to do things for me, others never realy understnad what you want. i guess you got lucky in your case

Zenos must have passed your details onto connexions to try help you into work, that's great. I wish you the very best of luck now and for the future.

DON'T GO !
They send me to this place in leminton for a job interview, but it wasnt, they just help you find a job.

Which sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The place was called CWT :@ Cu*ts

But on the bright side !

Some people came to my house (form connections !)
They were gunna help me with collage or finding a job etc...
unfortunatly I was out at the time so i have to call them tomorow !

Damn !

They said ( to my parents) thay they will give me finatial support if i find a course that cost money

Which is epic !

don't bother meow man i went today and i quote:
"don't go home and cut your wrists now you know the truth" after he told me that he might be out the job tomorrow himself with the new government and all and that there was very little jobs (which to be honest i knew anyway, you just haft to switch on your T.V or look around you to see that)

actually i think you should they are pretty helpful all round i don't want to dis them as they where a good help and sound like they can really help me progress while there are no jobs about i am sending him my CV tomorrow

Yeah... I tryed contacting this guy (andy) but he was busy , then the phone line was engaged ! All day !

They sound like they can help, or they can help ! ?

I went to connexions recently and I found they are SOOO much more helpful than Zenos in trying to find a job! They actually seem to understand it's not easy finding one at the moment unlike Zenos who told me I should be easily applying for about 20 jobs a day! I'd like to see them try! They actually listen at connexions, when I told the lady there what I was looking for she gave me a book containing only that field of work unlike Zenos who send me jobs which I continually tell them I REALLY don't want to do!

i live in london, and went to the london acdamy...
after there i signed up to london apprenticeship company.

even tho it took almost a year to help me find a apprenticeship im almost half way through a yr appreniceship with the conservatives!

so in my opion go to zenos if you want to get a steop on the IT ladder but dont go to defoo get a job
